The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world's most primal force of fury: The Incredible Hulk. We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won't leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).
Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination - a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk's own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction...

Being a huge fan of the original tv series i was very disappointed (to say the least!!) with ang lee's mess of the first film but im pleased to say they are starting to get it back on track with this effort!! Excellent cgi effects and sublime casting of norton as dr.banner makes this a movie no marvel fan will want to miss!!

Overall a very good summer popcorn movie. Theyve really gone back to the basics and redesigned what could be a very good franchise. Fantastic actors, good script, very good effects. Nowhere near the class of the dark knight, but hey, what is. Its a cracking, sit back, grab some popcorn, enjoy the ride movie. Could definately do a lot worse. I.e. fantastic four.
Bring back Ang Lee is forgiven!

Seems like Marvel pretty much want to forget Ang Lee's attempt at the green guy in 2003 'Hulk', but after watching this latest effort I know which I prefer. Big, dumb and forgettable is pretty how I'd sum up this movie, it's got some real talent in the cast such as Ed Norton & Tim Rice but it still feels short of being even a very good movie. The story line is a by the numbers job, whilst I believe some how the effects are worse than 5 years ago!? If you need to see a stab at a Marvel character you're better off watching Iron Man.
