Review

Spore is your own personal universe in a box. In this universe you can create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations and even sculpt entire worlds. In Spore you have a variety of creation tools at your disposal that allow you to customise nearly every aspect of your universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even spaceships. While Spore is a single player game, your creations and other players' creations are automatically shared between your galaxy and theirs, providing a limitless number of worlds to explore and play.

The Spore universe is made up of five phases with different challenges and goals. You may choose to start with the cell phase and nurture one species from its humble aquatic origins to its evolution as a sentient species. Or you may decide to start building tribes or civilizations on multiple planets. What you do with your universe is up to you.

This is rubbish. The only stages that are any good are the first two and both are far too short. Stages three and four are just a waste because they are far too short and very limited. The last stage is just the most tedious thing i have ever played.

There is only one reason to buy this game and thats the creature creator. It is very good but to be honest you could buy the creature creator they brought out before spore and you would get about 80% of whats good in the game then and there.

If you are going to buy this then feel free but dont expect to play it for very long ore get your moneys worth (unless its dropped to about £10).

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Pretty Dissapointing

This game isnt that great its pretty short apart from the space stage which actually is ridiculously long if you want it to be and its got a rubbish ending. The only thing going for it is the things you can create but even that gets boring after a while.

The nVidia GeForce FX series is unsupported under Vista.
