Fabulous game, everything you could ask for. Worth the price for sure. Online is simply brilliant and so addictive trying to beat players from all over the world with different tatics and styles. Great gameplay and graphics. Could not ask for anything more in a football game.

I've been playing pro evo since the first one arrived on ps2, and found they were better to play than fifa as they offered more realistic game play. However i decided to take the plunge with fifa 09 after the debacle that was pro evo 08. Well i'm glad i did as the game play is fantastic and more realistic than pro evo (in my opinion). This game is worth the £40 and i've not even been online yet. And although i've never cared about the use of real names, kits, etc it does add a little bit more to a game when you can struggle in league two with aldershot town and have 3 leagues to go through before reaching the premier league. The management side gives the game more depth as well. With all the game has to offer i guarantee a die hard pro evo fan would not be disappointed if they brought this game. Highly recommended and one more pro evo fan converted.

I made the mistake of going straight online as soon as i got this on the day of release! As i had played 500+ games on fifa 08 i thought it would be a great chance to get myself onto the leader-boards right away...... Big mistake! Took some getting used to, much quicker than 08 in my opinion and up until the patch was released a lot of people tended to use the glitches which had been found out........ Through balls, long balls over the top etc and i was getting hammered, then you learn the game, use the custom tactics!! Trust me they work! I only play online so can't speak for manager mode etc! This game is worth 40quid alone just for online play! Great graphics, great gameplay, feels great beating someone online! In a nutshell,,,, its awesome! Beats pes 2009 hands down! This is coming from me, who always used to get pes over fifa until konami's sloppy 2008, next gen effort!!! Fifa all the way!
